LocationTrévago is a beautiful village placed in the North-East of the province of Soria, opposite to the Saw of the Log (Sierra del Madero). The municipality is approximately to 1.040 m of height on the level of the sea, in Ágreda's region 18 Km separate of theirs it and to approximately 45 Km from Soria. One accedes for the N-122 up to Matalebreras and, from here, continues the road in direction Castilruiz - San Pedro Manrique. The Almajano's regional one reduces the distance to the capital to 38 km.

TowerClose to the Church there is Trévago's Tower of manufacture Arab - Berber built in the first half of the 9th century. Its principal function was the defense of the locality and the communication with other watchtowers that shape called "Route of the Towers ". Of this form they could know if the enemy was approaching and to warn with time to the neighboring localities. At present it is possible to visit and from its top we enjoy of a few excellent conference of the whole environment, known by the name of "The Corner" (La Rinconada). It is an obliged visit. This tower, with a small pyramidal trend, is of oblong plant, with a few measures of 7 ' 70 m. In its faces this one and west, and 6 ' 40 in the fronts north and south. It has a height of approximately 16 m. included battlements. The construction is divided in five bodies separated by a row of slabs or flat stones that mark them brightly. These three rows correspond internally with three levels which floors were supported by girders of wood fixed in holes that were supporting floors of wood. In each of the levels it had “saeteras”, as well as in four fronts.

FountainClose to Trévago's fronton and the social lounge "Las Escuelas" is the fountain, another symbol of the village for what it has represented along its history. Here one was coming for water with the pitchers, and to give something to drink to the animals in the basin that exists together with it.
In July, 1995 it fixed up, re-worked and repainted the inscription. In it there can be read how it was rebuilt by the neighbours of the village in the year 1838. Since then it is a point of meeting for all the inhabitants and visitors.

ChurchThe Parochial Church of Our Lady of the Asuncion or of the Virgin of the Río Manzano, since it is named in Trévago, is of Gothic style, constructed in the middle of the 16th century. Its construction was possible for the summit of the cattle trashumante of merino and its corresponding wool, and also for the incipient and forceful agricultural development. There must have existed a primitive Romanesque rural church because in the exterior two funeral tablets of the epoch are taken advantage as hanging. In addition the tower is integrated to the structure of the church and its first section joined as sacristy that still today continues being in use. In the interior it is necessary to emphasize the baptismal sink, pre-romanesque exquisite specimen, that it has arches of horse-shoe interlaced and floral decoration. It denotes Mozarabic indisputable influences. It seems that it might have been in use for practising the baptism for dip, given his measures, with 77 cm. of height and two diameters of 120 and 80 cm. Also stands out the major totally restored altarpiece.

"Las Escuelas" – Social loungeAt present, the former schools have turned into the centre of meeting of the neighbours of Trévago and visitors. Here it is possible to take something, read the daily press, play cards, etc. In special occasions it is the place where they are realized show restraint popular as the Day of the Tree or San Isidro. Also there are realized temporary exhibitions of ancient photographies of the village. In the interior it is possible to visit sedate her of the Friends' Association of Trévago where one preserves the table of the teacher, two desks, the map of Spain and other typical elements of the epoch in which this building was in use as school.

Hermitage
It is a hermitage of big proportions, of rectangular floor, with the sacristy leaned in its front this one, in that also one finds the belfry, and that likewise is the head-board of the building, which contains the major altar. |
